On Starter, the reminder goes out on WhatsApp from the shared Appcitas number. You do not link your own WhatsApp or scan a QR code. Create your account, add your services, and reminders start going out.
On Pro you can send them from your own number. If you have not connected it yet, they go out from the Appcitas number, so none is left unsent.
Once per booking, for every booking
The reminder goes out the day before, at most once per appointment, so your client does not get three identical messages. It covers bookings the AI makes, bookings that come through your booking link and the ones you add by hand in the calendar.

Reminders are WhatsApp messages, so they work best when your clients use WhatsApp. We do not send SMS, and we do not promise English wording on the reminder text today, so check how it reads for your clients before you rely on it.
If a client replies to confirm, change or cancel, the reply goes to the conversation the AI handles, which checks your availability and updates the calendar.
The next step against no-shows: a deposit
A reminder helps the client who wants to come. For the one who forgets or flakes, a deposit works better: they pay part of it straight to your own account, and if they do not report payment, the slot frees up on its own. Do I have to write the reminders?
No. Every new booking schedules its WhatsApp reminder automatically, the day before.
Do I need to connect my WhatsApp?
No. On Starter they go out from the shared Appcitas number. On Pro you can send from your own number, and if you have not connected it yet, they go out from Appcitas.
Can the same reminder go out twice?
No. Each appointment gets its reminder at most once.
Does it work for bookings I add myself?
Yes. Every booking in your Appcitas calendar gets a reminder, whether the AI booked it, the client used your link, or you added it from the dashboard.
Do you send SMS reminders?
No. Reminders go out on WhatsApp only. If your clients are not on WhatsApp, this is not the right tool for reminders.
Will the reminder be in English?
We do not promise that today. The AI conversation follows the customer's language and your booking page shows in your business's language, but reminder wording is something to check for your own clients.
